What does this target represent?

Personal income is what you keep after business costs. Business revenue is what clients pay you before costs. A visa figure may be counted differently again, so check the official rules for your destination.

Many digital nomad and residency visas specify minimum income requirements in the destination country's currency. Make sure you've checked the official requirement and converted it into US dollars using a current exchange rate. Exchange rates fluctuate, so consider allowing yourself some extra room.

How we handle your answers

We keep this short and specific to the Finder. Digital Émigré's full privacy policy also applies.

What we store

Your email address, your questionnaire answers, the report we generate, any refinement you request, and whether you asked to receive marketing emails. We also keep anonymous daily counts (for example, how many reports were generated) with no link to you.

Who processes it

Your answers are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write your report. The app runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data. Emails are sent through Resend. If you tick the marketing box, your email address is added to our mailing list on Kit.

How long we keep it

We delete your answers and reports 180 days after you last used your report link. If you never confirm your email address, we delete your answers after 7 days.

Deleting your data

Open your report link and choose "Delete my data" at the bottom of the report. This deletes your answers and reports immediately. If you joined the mailing list, unsubscribe using the link in any of our emails.
